American actor Lee Weaver passed away on September 22 at the age of 95 at his home in Los Angeles, although it wasn't until this weekend that his family made the news public.
Weaver was a familiar face in several films, but he became popular for his roles in The Bill Cosby Show, Hill Street Blues, and for his appearance in a season of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
He not only rose to fame with this series but also delivered memorable performances in movies like Heaven Can Wait (1978), O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000), Donnie Darko (2001), and The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005).
"In every role he played and in everything he did, he exuded joy, depth, and representation," stated the family's release as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
