The footballer was part of the delegation accompanying the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, during his official visit to the country.

In his welcoming speech, Trump highlighted the presence of the Portuguese star and revealed that his son, Barron Trump, was "excited" to meet Cristiano Ronaldo in person. "My son is a big Ronaldo fan," stated the President, mentioning that 19-year-old Barron had the opportunity to converse with the player, who is preparing for what could be his last World Cup next year.

Ronaldo attended the event accompanied by his partner, Georgina Rodríguez, and although he did not give a speech, he was seated in a prominent position at the presidential table in the East Room of the White House, reflecting the significance of his presence both in the sports and diplomatic realms. Cristiano's presence at this dinner reinforced the media impact of the Saudi visit to Washington and garnered widespread international attention.
