When something gets into Kim Kardashian's head, she goes all in. After the death in April last year of O.J. Simpson, his descendants, along with the estate executor, Malcolm LaVergne, decided to auction off his belongings to settle the debts he had as a former actor and NFL player.

Before Goldin Auctions displayed all the items last March for fans to acquire a memento with a hammer, it was known that Kim Kardashian had previously contacted Malcolm. The businesswoman wanted to buy the Biblethat her father had given to Simpson on June 18, 1994, a day after he was arrested and accused of the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown, and her lover, Ronald Goldman.

Kim offered $15,000, but the executor did not accept that amount because, as he told People magazine, not only would legal costs have absorbed the amount, but also because the item was already part of the judicial contract for the auction.

The Simpson family had to compensate the families of Nicole and Ronald because even though O.J. had been acquitted in the trial for the alleged homicide, a civil court had decided so. In total, the amount was up to $58 million.

Kim Kardashian, who has always admired her father, was determined to go all out to get the mentioned item. Last March, the Bible was awarded to an anonymous buyer for just over $80,000. It is a unique piece, as behind the golden cover is a handwritten dedication from Robert Kardashian to O.J. Simpson: "This book will help you. God loves you and will speak to you with his words. Read this book every day. God has a defined plan for your life. You are his child, and he will use you again. I love you, and God loves you."

As reported by the Daily Mail, in the latest episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the reality show available on Hulu, the mysterious buyer of the Bible is revealed. In the presence of her daughter Chicago (7), Kim revealed that she was the secret bidder. "So if anyone wonders who won that O.J. Simpson auction, be sure that it was me," she told both her confused daughter and the team behind the cameras.

This is not the first time the American socialite has acquired pieces related to famous figures. A great admirer of Elizabeth Taylor - it's worth mentioning that Kim conducted the actress's last interview for Harper's Bazaar - Kim spent $65,000 in the December 2011 auction of the legacy of the star of Cleopatra (1963) for three gold and jade bracelets from Lorraine Schwartz.

In June 2017 at Christie's, the most successful shapewear entrepreneur in the market paid $379,500 for the Cartier Tank watch that Jackie Kennedy wore on numerous occasions. As TMZ exclusively reported, the jewel was a gift from her brother-in-law, Prince Stanislaw Radziwill, married to her sister Lee, given to her a few months before the assassination of John F. Kennedy in November 1963.

Kim Kardashian confessed that she wore the watch when she met with Donald Trump (79) at the White House.
