Donald Trump Jr. gets engaged (for the third time) to Palm Beach influencer Bettina Anderson

Updated

Good news is brewing in the White House. Donald Trump Jr. (48) has announced his engagement to influencer and socialite of Puerto Rican origin Bettina Anderson (39), whom he officially introduced last January during the inauguration of Donald Trump (79) as the 47th president of the United States

The beginning of their relationship, which started around the summer of 2024, would have occurred while the businessman and economist was still engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle (56), who later decided to end their six-year love story despite being engaged for three years. Interestingly, on the same day their breakup was confirmed, the president-elect appointed her as the new U.S. ambassador to Greece. A strategic move to avoid gossip in case they all happened to meet in the halls of power in Washington.

This Monday, December 15, Donald Trump announced at the presidential mansion during a Christmas event that his eldest son had gotten engaged. The couple then spoke a few words. "I'm usually not at a loss for words... I want to thank Bettina for that one word: 'Yes'," said Trump Jr., and then Bettina stated, "This has been the most unforgettable weekend. I will marry the love of my life and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Thank you."

Almost everything is known about the businessman, but his girlfriend is still quite unknown. It is known that she frequents the most exclusive social circles in Palm Beach - the town where Trump owns his Mar-a-Lago megaclub - as her parents are two of the most important philanthropists in Florida.

Her father, Harry Loy Anderson, became the youngest bank president in the United States and her mother, Inger Anderson, is involved in charitable organizations. She has five siblings, Mea Stone, Bebe, Kristina, Harry Loy III, and Kent.

Bettina graduated in 2009 from Columbia University in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation, but what she enjoys the most is working as a model, according to her official Instagram account. Undoubtedly, when she and Donald Trump Jr. walk hand in hand, she stands out for her height and elegance. Additionally, along with her siblings and following in her parents' footsteps, Anderson founded The Paradise Fund, a non-profit organization that helps local organizations in natural disasters.

Last month, Donald and Bettina were in Marbella for business reasons and were escorted by strong security measures.

For Donald Trump Jr., this would be his second marriage (although his third engagement), as in 2005 he married model Vanessa Kay Haydon (47), whose ceremony was officiated by the late president's sister, Judge Maryanne Trump. The marriage produced five children, Kai (18) - the politician's favorite granddaughter and an expert golfer - Donald John III (16), Tristan Milos (14), Spencer Frederick (13), and Chole Sophia (11). They divorced in 2018. That same year, he started dating Kimberly Guilfoyle. For Bettina, this is her first marriage.
