Cameras caught her dancing to Beyoncé, dancing to K-Pop warriors, dancing with Wunmi Mosaku from The Sinners... If someone stood out at the 2026 Oscars, it was undoubtedly Teyana Taylor, even though she did not win the coveted statuette she was nominated for. The charismatic unruly warrior from One Battle After Another left without the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, but she was the undisputed queen of the night... not always in a positive way.

One of the images from the 2026 Oscars gala is a video recorded... after everything had ended. "Literally, he pushed me", she can be heard saying in violent footage where, visibly angry, she accuses a man of touching her without her consent. According to the social news portal TMZ, the incident took place just after the end of the gala, and the target of her anger was a security guard at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

TMZ reports citing eyewitnesses of the altercation that Teayana Taylor was trying to return to the stage to take a photo with the team from One Battle After Another, crowned as the best picture, alongside Pam Abdi, co-director from Warner Bros., the film's producer, when a security guard tried to prevent them from going up the stairs.

According to sources consulted by TMZ, the guard used his body to block Taylor and held her in an attempt to keep her away from the stage. In the viral video, Taylor can be seen confronting the security staff member, accusing him of laying hands on a woman and describing his action as very rude. At one point, she is heard telling the people around her: "Literally, he pushed me".

The New York actress, who had won the Golden Globe for her role under Paul Thomas Anderson's direction, was a favorite for the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. With the momentum of being a key part of the big winner of the night. However, the award went to Amy Madigan. Nevertheless, she celebrated the film's victory as if it were her own.

When she heard Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor announce the Best Picture at the 2026 Oscars, she couldn't contain her joy and rushed to hug her director, Paul Thomas Anderson, with such vigor that she grabbed him by the neck in a real bear hug that seemed to want to suffocate him. A true bear hug.
