The Oscars 2026 ceremony took place last night, with 'One Battle After Another' emerging as the big winner, securing six statuettes, surpassing Sinners (4) and Frankenstein (3). These and other winners of the night can be streamed from home.

There is no excuse not to indulge in good cinema to later discuss whether one agrees with the decision of the Hollywood Academy.

This year's Oscars ceremony highlighted the call for "No to war and Free Palestine" made by Spanish actor Javier Bardem when he took the stage to present one of the awards.
