Months after the incident, Cabot has decided to speak publicly for the first - and as she claims, only - time.

She did so on Oprah Winfrey's podcast, in an interview where she seeks to close a chapter marked by personal pain and media exposure. During the conversation, she not only shares new details of that night but also launches a direct criticism at digital platforms, accusing them of "taking advantage of pain" when these situations go viral.

The video, recorded in the stadium in front of thousands of people, quickly spread on social media reaching massive numbers, surpassing 300,000 billion views. In it, Cabot appears alongside the CEO of Astronomer, Andy Byron, in a stance that quickly led to speculations. Upon realizing they were being focused on the big screen, both tried to hide: he quickly moved away and disappeared from the scene, while she turned around, avoiding the camera.

From the stage, the band's vocalist, Chris Martin, reacted in a light-hearted tone: "Wow, look at these two! Either they are having an affair or they are just very shy," he joked, unaware of the impact that comment would have.

Within minutes, the images were circulating worldwide. However, as Cabot now explains, the real context was different from what many assumed. At that moment, she was already separated from her husband, information that, she regrets, was overshadowed by the viral narrative. In fact, she reveals an unexpected detail: her ex-partner was also at the same concert.

"I was entering the concert when my daughter sent me a message saying, 'How nice that you and Andrew are at Coldplay!'", Cabot recounts. "Then she let me know that my husband, from whom I am separated, was also at the concert." Faced with that situation, she admits she considered a possible encounter: "I thought, 'Would it be awkward if I run into Andy?' But then I thought: "I'm at Gillette Stadium. There are 55,000 people here. I probably won't run into him."

Nevertheless, she insists that the situation would not have been a conflict. "He [my ex] knows how closely Andy and I worked together, he knows we socialized, for example, we went to lunch and for drinks. There was no problem," she asserts.

Far from the publicly projected image, Cabot maintains that her close circle already knew about her relationship with Byron. However, the global reaction was immediate and forceful. While social media pointed fingers at her and made her the target of criticism, memes, and even death threats , her personal and professional life began to crumble.

The impact was such that she ended up resigning from her position as the director of human resources at Astronomer. As she recounts, the pressure and harassment deeply affected both her and her family.

After the scandal, Cabot initiated divorce proceedings and tried to rebuild her life away from the public eye. In a previous interview with The New York Times, she explained that she believed Byron was also going through a separation at that time. However, he has never made any public statements on the matter and has since been seen on several occasions with his wife.

Now, with this intervention, Cabot aims to put an end to one of the most viral - and personal - episodes of recent times, leaving a clear reflection on the human cost of virality in the digital age.
