The actor Anthony Guidera, known for his roles in movies like The Godfather III, Armageddon, and Mortal Species, has passed away at 65 years old after complications from a heart attack that forced him to be connected to a ventilator last May.
His wife, through a Facebook post, expressed her grief to the actor's fans and asked for prayers: "With deep sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Anthony. We are devastated and trying to cope with this unbearable pain, living each moment as it comes. We ask you to keep this eternal light in your hearts and our family in your prayers."
His most notable role was precisely his acting debut in The Godfather III. For the film, the actor shared the stage with actors and actresses such as Al Pacino, Sofia Coppola, Andy García, and Diane Keaton.
He left acting more than 20 years ago, in 2005, when he participated in the movie LA Dicks. In addition to this film, he appeared in The Rock (1996), Moonbase (1996), Until You Find Me (1997), Messenger of the Future (1997), and The Annihilation of Fish (1999), where he starred alongside James Earl Jones, the famous voice of Darth Vader in Star Wars.
