Ricardo Prim, father of the YouTuber Gaspi, has reported to the Argentine newspaper 'Clarín' that his son's death "was an attack". "It is unknown whether it was an accident or an attack. I did not know the American singer who was with him, Oliver Tree, but I receive a lot of information and I believe it was not an accident. To me, it was an attack," he stated.
"It will be very difficult for me to live without Gaspi, not knowing that he is not here. I found out at noon on Sunday and I still can't fully grasp it. People come, cry, and leave me flowers. With every hug they give me, I feel like Gaspi is hugging me," he commented on the void he feels after the loss of his son.
The Argentine YouTuber Gaspar Prim, better known as Gaspi, passed away this Sunday in the accident between two helicopters that collided in mid-air, leaving six dead in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). The incident also claimed the lives of the American musician Oliver Tree, the Argentine producer Lucas Vignale, as well as the Brazilians Lucas Brito, Charles Marsillac, and Alexandre Souza
According to the city's mayor, Eduardo Cavaliere, the helicopters were conducting transfer flights to Angra dos Reis, a tourist town on the coast of Rio.
"He managed to become a reference. The character he portrayed as 'Gaspi' was no longer him. He had grown. The two Lucas who were with him were also very creative," his parent recounted in the Argentine newspaper.
"There are many broken, ignorant, and malicious people. There are many idiots who speak ill of him. He never used drugs. He drank alcohol, smoked, but I can confirm he never used drugs," he affirmed regarding the comments of many people about whether he consumed any type of narcotic.
