The actress Carla Jeffery, known for her role as Bree in the successful Zombies movie saga from Disney and for her participation in youth series like iCarly, died on September 1, 2026 at the age of 33, as reported by her representation agency, Alexanders Talent Management, through their social media.

"With deep sadness, we share the passing of our beloved Carla Jeffery, who departed on September 1, 2026, at just 33 years old," expressed the agency. "Carla joined our family at the age of 12. For over 20 years, we had the privilege of seeing her grow into a beautiful, vibrant, and incredibly talented woman, whose radiant smile could light up any room."

Her most prominent role came in the Disney movie Zombies, where she portrayed the cheerleader Bree, the romantic interest of Bonzo (a zombie student), and Addison's loyal best friend, the protagonist. Jeffery reprised this character throughout the trilogy and lent her voice to the franchise's animated series.

Throughout her television career, she also appeared in titles like Good Luck Charlie!, Shake It Up, and iCarly, where she starred in a memorable scene alongside the character Gibby dancing on a table in a restaurant.

The agency's statement concluded: "Our hearts are with Carla's family and loved ones during this devastating time. We respectfully ask for her privacy to be honored as they navigate through the grief of this unimaginable loss. Rest in peace and beauty, Carla. Your light will never be forgotten."

One of her most recent acting projects was in the podcast series Asanté, which tells the story of the titular character, his life dilemmas, and the challenge of coming of age.
