This week, the British magazine Tatler announced the names of the two handsome young men leading its list of Most Eligible Bachelors. A ranking that will be fully revealed on November 5, featuring Valentina Pinault, the 19-year-old daughter of François Pinault and Salma Hayek, as the main star.

"Valentina, what fills me with pride about you is the person you are: so good, thoughtful, caring, and incredibly fun. It's simply a pleasure to have you around," the actress commented while reposting the magazine cover, featuring the Political Science student alongside an attractive blonde.

We are talking about Henry Pollock (21), one of the players on the England rugby team and considered one of the great promises of the sport in the UK. According to Tatler, he stands at 6'2", has "rosy cheeks, full lips, and blue eyes that catch the sunlight." However, Pollock is much more than just a pretty face.

Henry was born in January 2005 in Northamptonshire, into a family very focused on sports. In fact, his sister Zoe is an athlete specializing in the 400-meter hurdles, while his brother Angus is a prominent golfer. Additionally, his mother - named Hester - was a national-level triathlete and, according to Henry, she instilled in him a passion for exercise.

According to an interview he gave to the BBC in 2024, his childhood consisted of swimming training, triathlon competitions, and Sunday afternoons accompanying his father to rugby. That is precisely why Stowe School - a prestigious school in Buckinghamshire - offered him a sports scholarship when he was 13 years old.

According to what the Brit has told Tatler, he "wasn't usually the best" when he started taking rugby seriously. But "as he grew," his skills began to develop, he started to excel, and in 2018, he joined the youth academy of the prominent club Northampton Saints.

At 17, Pollock made his debut with the first team, signed his first professional contract with the club in March 2023, and joined the senior academy full-time in July of that year. Subsequently, in November 2024, he debuted with the second team of the national team and in March 2025 with the senior national team. Since then, everything has been on the rise.

Moreover, last September, Henry renewed his contract with the Northampton Saints, with a salary that, according to the British press, exceeds £400,000 annually. However, Henry is not satisfied with that amount. He wants more... and in other areas. That's why, in March, he signed with Matchroom Talent Agency, a sports representation agency focused on securing advertising deals.

So what has Pollock achieved so far? According to Tatler, he has managed to be invited to the chicest parties in London, boasts a growing YouTube channel, and today dreams of appearing in a Burberry ad. Despite this, during the interview, the young man presents himself as a much less ostentatious character.

For example, he revealed that he shares an apartment with his friend Toby Thame - who also plays for the Northampton Saints - and stated that he frequents the private club Soho House only because his friends are members. He does not pay for membership. On the other hand, he has also confessed that he enjoys playing acoustic guitar, is a fan of Ed Sheeran, and likes singing in Spanish.

His family has a house in Menorca, where he has spent his vacations throughout his life, although he does not speak Spanish. He says he only knows Bad Bunny songs by heart, but he is interested in learning the language and wants to do it well because he is "competitive" in everything he does.

What about his personal life? The Tatler report does not mention whether he has a partner or not. But he does state that he knows his career will be short and that he wants to make the most of his exposure... while keeping his feet on the ground. He even promises that fame won't go to his head and that all he wants is to continue living "a dream."
