Out of the 3,551 beaches estimated to be in Spain, approximately one out of seven (450) is nudist. These beaches attract locals and tourists who dare to bare it all, as our country dominates the list of the best in all of Europe. Notably, six out of the top 10 nude beaches in Europe are located in Spain, with Maspalomas Beach in Gran Canaria ranking as the second best in the Old Continent, just behind Patara Beach in Turkey.
These rankings are based on data compiled in a report by experts from the VIP Grinders platform, who analyze summer temperatures, likelihood of rain, Tripadvisor ratings, Instagram popularity, and Google searches to classify the best nude beaches in Europe.

The Turkish Patara Beach has secured the top position despite being an unofficial nudist beach, although it is one of the largest on the Turkish coast. Stretching about 18 kilometers long, it is very popular among swimmers and also among turtles, as they come to nest in its domains. The beach scores 8.66 out of 10, with an average summer temperature of 28°C, 17,700 Instagram hashtags, 26,000 Google searches per month, and a solid rating of 4.2 on Tripadvisor.

Maspalomas Beach, on the other hand, is the best in Spain with a score of 8.48 out of 10. Often considered the nudist capital of Europe, it is packed with tourists and Spaniards baring it all along its six-kilometer stretch. Ranking third is Llevant Beach in Formentera, scoring 8.32 out of 10. With its white sand and crystal turquoise waters, it offers a pleasant temperature of 25°C and only 10 mm of rainfall on average per month during the summer. The beach also boasts one of the highest Tripadvisor ratings, with 4.6 out of 5.
Rounding out the top five are Red Beach (Kokkini Ammos) in Crete (Greece) (7.87/10), Es Trenc in Campos (Mallorca) (7.64/10), and Filaki Beach in Hora Sfakion (Greece) (7.64/10).
