This is how the American actor expressed it at a press conference during the European Film Festival in Seville, where he presented his second project as a film director, 'Modi, Three Days on the Wing of Madness'.
In this context, Depp emphasized that, after his last visit in September to the country for the San Sebastian Festival, "it is an honor and privilege to be here, after the devastation and catastrophic situation that is being experienced" due to the passage of a DANA that has already left 220 dead. "We are a mere speck of experience compared to the devastation and the things that people are going through," he added.
"Our hearts are with all the people of Spain", the actor stated, while emphasizing "the resilience and strength of the people." Finally, he thanked the Festival for the reception, offering his support to those affected: "We would like to do everything possible to help in any way."
