Brothers Tal and Oren Alexander, known for selling luxury homes in New York and Miami, have been arrested along with another brother, Alon, accused of being involved in sex trafficking. The authorities are investigating their connection to the rape and assault of dozens of women over more than a decade. It is believed that they used their influence and economic power to take advantage of them.
Thus, the three young men were arrested in Florida this Wednesday. As reported by the BBC, the federal prosecutor for the Southern District of New York has stated to the media that "dozens of women" have reported "being forcibly raped or sexually assaulted by at least one of the Alexander brothers."
The authorities believe that their modus operandi involved inviting women to parties or promising them luxury experiences or trips to lure them to locations in both the United States and abroad where they allegedly committed the sexual assaults. Sometimes, they used drugs to achieve their goal.
In some cases, they even "physically restrained the victims during the assaults, ignoring their screams and explicit requests to stop," prosecutors say.
Tal and Oren Alexander worked for the real estate giant Douglas Elliman, which has been responsible for selling luxury properties to personalities like Liam Gallagher, Lindsay Lohan, or Kim Kardashian.
