A US airstrike on Monday has left at least 68 dead at a migrant detention center in Sadah, northern Yemen. Initially, the Houthi television channel Al Massira reported that the number of casualties could be close to 30, a figure that has since increased.

The attack occurs in the context of previous confrontations, where the United States military has been persistently targeting Houthi positions to stop their attacks against Israel and ships in the Red Sea since January 2024.
