Another shooting shakes the United States. And once again at an educational center. This time it was on the campus of a private university near Los Angeles. An attacker has injured two women after starting a shooting, authorities have reported, according to AP.
"One is in critical condition and the other is stable at the moment," the mayor of the city of Inglewood, James Butts, told reporters. The victims are "Hispanic women," as well as the suspect, the official said.
The shooting took place late in the afternoon on the campus of Spartan College, a university that offers aeronautics studies.
According to the mayor, the suspect could be a former employee of the educational center.
The local television station KTLA reported that the attacker was wearing a uniform similar to that of a security guard and that the police have arrested him.
Several officers have cordoned off the campus after the incident, in which it has been ruled out that there are more victims.
