"Go ahead, hit me in the face. And he did." The billionaire explained that the injury to his eye is due to a game with his five-year-old son.

The media crowded into the Oval Office during Elon Musk's farewell from the Trump Administration. However, many of the present objectives were directed at the right eye of the magnate. Elon Musk had a large bruise on his eye and showed significant swelling.

The billionaire Elon Musk attributed the injury to his right eye to his 5-year-old son. Musk said he was "playfully" messing around with his son and told him, "Go ahead, hit me in the face. And he did." There is no doubt that the little one faithfully obeys his father.

Seconds before giving that explanation, Elon Musk responded to a reporter asking about his black eye and, referring to Emmanuel Macron's discussion with his wife, he replied: "Well, I wasn't near France. I was playing with my son when I asked him to punch me in the face, and he did."

All this on the day the South African magnate leaves the Trump Administration four months after his appointment, with his image damaged, failing to meet his budget cuts goals, and criticizing the president's fiscal policy.

"Now that my scheduled time as a Special Government Employee is coming to an end, I want to thank President Donald Trump for the opportunity to reduce wasteful spending," said the magnate through the social network X, one of the companies he owns and manages.
