Belinda Taylor, a 48-year-old British woman, passed away last Friday after an accident while skydiving from 4,500 meters with an instructor at Dunkeswell airfield in Devon, in the southwest of the UK. It was a gift from her boyfriend, who witnessed the accident with his son.

Scott Armstrong, Belinda's partner, has told Mirror how the adventure turned into tragedy. "The plan was to jump from 2,130 meters, but at the last minute, she said she wanted to jump from 4,500 meters, so I paid the extra money. They were the last group to go up. I was using binoculars and saw them all jump. I noticed that one parachute hadn't opened. I was very scared. They disappeared from my sight," Belinda's boyfriend told the mentioned media.

"I got in the car with my son and ran through the fields. I found Belinda and the instructor lying there, still together, both deceased. It was a horrible sight. I miss her very much," he continues the fateful account.

Belinda had four children, three adults, and one teenager, and two grandchildren. "Belinda was my world. She was so kind and generous, and would do anything for anyone. My nine-year-old son came to live with us recently, and she welcomed him with open arms. As a token of appreciation, I decided to buy her the tandem skydiving jump. She was thrilled," Scott Armstrong told Mirror.

On the other hand, Belinda's eldest son, Connor Bowles, has praised his mother, as reported by The Guardian. "She was a selfless woman who only wanted the best for others, especially for her loved ones. We will deeply miss her, and she will leave an indelible mark on all who knew her."

While British Skydiving is investigating the circumstances of the incident, the Devon and Cornwall police have also opened an investigation.
