"Life is full of unexpected surprises." That is the pre-recorded message that some people have heard when calling their friends and family living in Iran from outside its borders, as reported by CNN.

It is a pre-recorded message that, according to some experts cited by the media, may be part of the Internet blackout that the country is experiencing. When dialing an Iranian phone number from outside, apparently, a message is heard saying: "Hello, and thank you for taking the time to listen," followed by: "Life is full of unexpected surprises, and these surprises can sometimes bring joy, while other times they challenge us. The key is to discover the strength within us to overcome these challenges."

These messages were heard on Wednesday and Thursday, days before the war intensified even further following Trump's bombing of three nuclear facilities in Iran.

Iran has imposed Internet access restrictions for its residents for "security reasons" days ago, causing messaging apps like WhatsApp to stop working, in addition to the unsettling message that plays when calling Iranian mobile phones.
