Trump announces that there is already a buyer for TikTok: "They are very very rich"

The U.S. President, Donald Trump, stated this Sunday that he has already found a buyer for TikTok, a necessary step to allow the platform to continue operating in the United States

"We have a buyer for TikTok. We will probably need China's approval, and I believe President Xi will probably do it" he said on the Sunday Morning Futures program on Fox News Channel.

The Republican leader did not reveal the name and simply mentioned that it is a very wealthy tech company, which will be announced in "two weeks."

On the other hand, Trump said he's not planning to extend a 90-day pause on tariffs on most nations beyond July 9. The delay for imposing much higher tariffs on China, agreed to in early May, expires about a month later.
