Russia is monitoring the supply of weapons from the West to Ukraine. This is a top priority for the Kremlin, especially since Donald Trump announced this week the sending of Patriot missile systems to Kiev.
The U.S. president reaffirmed yesterday the 50-day ultimatum to Moscow to stop the fighting, but Russia launched a Iskander-M ballistic missile and 400 drones, including shaheds and imitations of these, in widely scattered areas during Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
The prosecutor's office in the Kharkiv region reported that two individuals aged 67 and 69 died in the Kupiansk district, while authorities in Sumy reported the death of a 50-year-old resident.
In addition, Russia launched a ballistic missile and 28 drones against Krivoy Rog, the hometown of Volodymyr Zelensky, causing damage to industrial infrastructure, power outages, and seriously injuring a 17-year-old boy. In Vinnytsia, the drone strikes injured eight people.

Many statements have been made with many words of disappointment, but we hope that at the same time pressure will be exerted on the Ukrainian side," said presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov to local press.
He also accused the European Union (EU) of militarizing and "spending large sums of money to buy weapons to continue instigating the war." "It is difficult to predict anything in the face of such emotional impertinence," he added.
The Kremlin Says It Is Monitoring Western Arms Supply to Ukraine
The Kremlin stated that the supply of arms from the West to Ukraine is a top issue on its agenda and that it is closely monitoring this matter, as reported on Wednesday by Russian news agencies citing Reuters.
Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov noted that the supply of arms to Ukraine is a business, and that some European countries will pay for these weapons.
Peskov also mentioned that there is no scheduled phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump, but one could be quickly arranged if necessary.

Zelensky: "Russia Is Not Changing Its Strategy"
"Following the Russian bombing last night, response efforts continue. The regions of Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Odesa were the most targeted. In particular, the energy infrastructure was attacked," Zelensky wrote on his X account.
"Russia is not changing its strategy, and to effectively counter this terrorism, we need to systematically strengthen our defenses: more air defense systems, more interceptors, and more determination, so that Russia feels our response," he concluded the post.
