The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has shared a video created with artificial intelligence showing him piloting a plane named King Trump and throwing excrement at a group of protesters demonstrating against his government. In the footage, shared through Truth Social, the Republican leader is seen wearing a golden crown while flying over his critics.
The video, lasting less than a minute, was posted after a day of protests throughout the country organized by progressive and university organizations. The AI-generated images quickly went viral and sparked strong controversy in the US media and in Congress.
The mogul has not commented further on the matter nor addressed the demonstration from this Saturday, which was organized under the slogan "No Kings". From New York to Los Angeles, signs could be seen with phrases like "Trump must go now" or "We don't want kings in this country".
"This country does not belong to kings, dictators, or tyrants. It belongs to us, the people: to those who care, who stand up, and who fight for dignity, a life we can afford, and real opportunities. No thrones. No crowns. No kings," stated the protest organizers.
