Just when peace seems closer thanks to Trump's negotiation plan for Ukraine and Russia, attacks between both sides intensify. This morning, Kiev and Moscow reported "massive" enemy airstrikes on their respective territories, resulting in at least three deaths in the Russian region of Rostov and six in the Ukrainian capital.
At least six people have died in Kiev in a Russian attack with missiles and drones that destroyed several buildings in residential areas of the capital. Initially, Emergency Services reported two deaths in a nine-story building in the Dnipro district of Kiev, but the regional military administration later confirmed the deaths of four more people in the Sviatoshin district. Russia launched a total of 22 missiles and 460 drones against Ukraine this morning.
In Russian territory, at least three people have died and eight have been injured in a Ukrainian attack on the districts of Taganrog and Neklinovski, on the shores of the Sea of Azov, in the southern region of Rostov, as announced on the Telegram platform by regional governor Yuri Sliusar.

Macron Affirms No Weakness Should Be Shown
French President Emmanuel Macron warned on Tuesday that Russia is one of the "main threats" looming over the countries of the European Union and NATO and that it would be a mistake to show weakness in the "strategic confrontation" Moscow is waging with Europe, as reported by Efe.
"Russia is waging a strategic confrontation with Europeans (...) We would be wrong to show weakness in the face of this threat," Macron said in an interview with RTL radio a few hours before the video conference meeting planned for this afternoon by the members of the Volunteer Coalition created in March 2025 to support Ukraine.
According to the French president, Russia is waging a "hybrid war" on European territory, including France, and he said his country must "prepare for the possibility of a major high-intensity confrontation in Europe's neighborhood between 2027 and 2030, alongside a massive increase in hybrid attacks on its territory."
