Trump vehemently denied accusations of having spent time on financier Jeffrey Epstein's island and referred to Noah as a "nobody" and "terrible host," also criticizing his performance at the last Grammy Awards.

During his statement, the president insisted that he has "absolutely nothing to do" with Epstein and stated that the over three million pages of documentation released by the Department of Justice do not link him to the case. He emphasized that the Department of Justice should focus on "other things" and highlighted that relevant mentions involve other public figures, such as Bill Clinton or Bill Gates, although he avoided going into details.

Trump went further by claiming that Epstein and writer Michael Wolff had conspired to politically harm him and cause his electoral defeat. According to the president, these revelations would demonstrate his lack of involvement in the case. He also accused Democrats of driving the issue and stated that the controversy could backfire on them, considering that some of their members were linked to Epstein. Trump concluded by pointing out that attempts to damage him "did not go too well."
