The President of the United States, Donald Trump, threatened this Sunday to strike Iran with "unprecedented force" if Tehran fulfills its promise to launch a historic offensive against the US and Israel in retaliation for the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The warning came shortly after the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced attacks on 27 US military bases in the Middle East and Israeli targets, in retaliation for the Ayatollah's death.

Since the joint attacks on Saturday by the US and Israel against Iran, the Persian country has attacked the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait, among others, allies of the United States where the Western power has military bases.

Israel claims to have killed 40 Iranian commanders and senior officials "in a minute"

The Israeli Army claimed this Sunday that "in a minute," during the first attack of Operation "Lion's Roar," initiated yesterday against Iran in this new war with US collaboration, they ended the lives of 40 Iranian commanders and senior officials, reports Efe.

"During the night, we continued and intensified the attacks throughout Iran. We are paving the way to the Iranian border, reaching the city of Tehran. We also attacked Iranian defense systems and expanded the Air Force's air superiority," declared Effie Defrin, spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), this Sunday.

And added that from Iran, the Israeli Air Force fighter jets are operating "24 hours to locate and attack targets of the Iranian missile arsenal."
