The military escalation in the Middle East marks a new chapter in U.S. foreign policy.

Through his Truth Social platform, Trump shared a video in which he warned that the bombings could last up to four weeks. The president did not rule out further casualties among U.S. forces deployed in the region and defended the offensive as a necessary measure to protect U.S. interests. In his message, the president also directly addressed Iran.

He urged the Revolutionary Guard to lay down their arms, while calling on the Iranian population to rise up against the regime. His statements escalate international tension and open a scenario of uncertainty about the duration and real scope of the conflict in the Middle East.
