This Wednesday, explosions were heard in the capital of Iran, as its war with the United States and Israel entered its fifth day after previous bombings on an Iranian nuclear facility and retaliatory attacks by the Islamic Republic throughout the Gulf region.

In the morning, anti-aircraft sirens sounded throughout the island kingdom of Bahrain, home to the US Navy's 5th Fleet, and the Qatari Ministry of Defense stated that Iran launched two ballistic missiles against the country, with one hitting the Qatari base of Al-Udeid, but causing no casualties.
In addition, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards claim to have launched more than 40 missiles against US and Israeli targets. They also stated in a release this Wednesday that they have "total control" of the Strait of Hormuz, a key point for global oil trade at the entrance to the Persian Gulf.
