During his daily briefing, the spokesperson assured that the operations have destroyed key infrastructures used for the launch of drones and missiles.

"So far, we have targeted hundreds of unmanned aerial vehicles, launchers, and dozens of launch sites," Defrin explained detailing the scope of the military operations. According to the spokesperson, the Israeli forces have also eliminated numerous fighters operating in these units.

"Additionally, we have eliminated commanders and soldiers, we could say many thousands, operating in those formations," he added. The joint attacks by Israel and the United States against positions linked to Iran have caused significant damage to the military leadership, army capabilities, and the Iranian ballistic missile program.

However, these actions have not succeeded in overthrowing the Iranian government, something that U.S. President Donald Trump has hinted at several times as one of the strategic objectives. Meanwhile, the Shiite group Hezbollah, backed by Iran, launched around 200 rockets from Lebanon towards northern Israel.

In response, Israel carried out a new wave of attacks on Lebanese territory, where at least 11 people died. According to Defrin, since the start of the Israeli operation, more than 350 fighters have died, dozens of them in the last hours.
