After the bombing, thick columns of smoke rose over the area while vehicles continued to circulate nearby.

According to military sources, the Israeli army had warned residents approximately an hour before the attack, urging them to evacuate the building before its total demolition at dawn.

This building had already been a previous target: three bombings on March 12 failed to bring it down. Israeli authorities stated that the location was linked to Hezbollah, accusing the group of storing "millions of dollars" to finance its activities, although no evidence was presented to support these claims.

In recent days, Israeli airstrikes on the center of Beirut have intensified, occurring both with prior warning and without it. Simultaneously, the army announced a new wave of bombings against Hezbollah positions in the south of the country, in response to alleged attacks on Israeli territory, further escalating tension in the region.
