The Iranian Red Crescent released several videos on Tuesday showing the rescue of a survivor from the rubble of a building destroyed after an attack in Tehran

The footage also shows emergency teams searching for injured and potential victims inside severely damaged homes.

According to the humanitarian organization, the attack —attributed to United States and Israel forces— struck a residential area on the outskirts of the Iranian capital. The bombing completely destroyed one building and caused damage to at least four other nearby properties.

The military escalation continues to intensify. On that same Tuesday, Iran was targeted by new airstrikes, while Iranian missiles and drones reached Tel Aviv and other strategic points in the Middle East. All this is happening as President Donald Trump claims that there are ongoing discussions with Tehran to end the conflict, something that Iran denies.

With the deployment of more U.S. Marines to the Gulf and an increase in bombings, tension continues to rise. Iranian control of the Straits of Hormuz has affected global trade, raising fuel prices and causing concern in the world economy.
