The footage, recorded in broad daylight, reflects the intensity of an escalating offensive in the western part of the country, near the border with Poland.
The mayor of the city, Andriy Sadovyi, confirmed that at least 13 people have been hospitalized with injuries, while the number of fatalities continues to rise. The attack hit an apartment block in the city center, causing scenes of panic among residents.
Additionally, the offensive caused a fire at St. Andrew's Church, a 17th-century temple located in a UNESCO World Heritage site, as reported by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi warned of new Russian attempts to break through defensive lines at various points on the front. Russia has intensified its attacks since March 17, in a conflict that has already allowed it to control nearly 20% of Ukrainian territory, including Crimea.
