According to the Prime Minister, this strategic blow represents a "tremendous achievement" aimed at depriving the Revolutionary Guard of the financial resources and materials necessary for weapon manufacturing.
Netanyahu made these statements through a video message after a military assessment at the Army Intelligence base in Tel Aviv. During his speech, he highlighted that the recent attacks on key Iranian bridges and infrastructure have been carried out in full coordination with US President Donald Trump. The Prime Minister emphasized the close collaboration between the armed forces of both countries to continue weakening the Persian regime, which he described as weaker than ever against a strengthened Israel.
Simultaneously, the situation on the Lebanese front shows an expansion of Israeli territorial control. Netanyahu confirmed that his army will continue to expand the "security belt" in southern Lebanon, where Israel already controls approximately 8% of the national territory, specifically the area south of the Litani River. In this context, Defense Minister Israel Katz announced the start of demolition of homes in border villages identified by Jerusalem as Hizbullah's "outposts."
The human cost of this military campaign, which has been ongoing since March 2, continues to rise. In Lebanon, the Ministry of Health has recorded over 1,200 deaths, including 124 children, due to intense bombings in the south, east, and outskirts of Beirut. On the other hand, although Iranian authorities have not updated their official figures, the organization HRANA estimates that the death toll in Iran exceeds 3,400, including over 1,500 civilians.
