It is inevitable that when you travel by plane, you end up next to a small child. Avoidable is that the child spends the flight with SpongeBob at full volume on the tablet given to him by his parents to keep him entertained. Adults can also be annoying, of course. For all of them, big and small annoying travelers, a warning: if you travel on United Airlines, you may be removed from the plane. It is the new, perhaps controversial policy of the American airline, which, reacting to the new times, has established that headphones must be used on their planes to listen to private audio or video content of any kind, from a series to a TikTok. According to United, those who forget their headphones can request them for free on the plane. Another of the announced measures to make travel more comfortable is the United Relax Row, the option that turns the row of three seats in economy class into a flat surface resembling a bed (mattress and bed included) for long-haul flights. It will be available next year. United flies to six destinations in Spain from the US: Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, and Bilbao. Starting from May 27, it will also fly to Santiago de Compostela.

The number one airport in the world: stress-free design, pool, and indoor waterfall

Also about a design that prioritizes reducing stress for travelers. Hence, its immersive experiences, its abundant vegetation, its fantastic rooftop pool, and, of course, that 40-meter-high indoor waterfall. After Singapore, the annual Skytrak top ten continues with Seoul and Tokyo Haneda airports. Hong Kong and Tokyo Narita are in the fourth and fifth places. Paris CDG, Rome Fiumicino, Istanbul, Munich, and Vancouver complete the list of the 10 best airports in the world this year.

Another way to cross Europe by night train

Last week, Europe regained a connection that was on the verge of disappearing from its railway map: the possibility of traveling by night train between Paris and Berlin. The service has returned thanks to the European Sleeper night train network, which already operates the Brussels-Amsterdam-Berlin-Prague route and will travel to Milan starting in September. The new launch responds to two trends that we like: the growing demand for a more sustainable way of traveling and the renewed interest in slow travel.
