Melania on Epstein: "I was never his friend, I was not his victim, he did not introduce me to Donald Trump"

As if the scandal needed another chapter, Melania Trump has decided to confront the press to deny any connection with Jeffrey Epstein. From the White House, she insisted that she never had a relationship with him or knowledge of his crimes, also distancing herself from the idea that Epstein introduced her to Donald Trump

She did acknowledge that they coincided in exclusive social circles and at parties in New York and Palm Beach, because, of course, in that world, everyone "coincidentally" crosses paths. She also admitted to exchanging emails with Ghislaine Maxwell, describing them as simple cordial messages of no major significance.

The former model labeled the accusations as campaigns to damage her reputation and denied appearing in legal documents or testimonies related to the case. This is not the first time she has reacted: in 2025, she threatened to sue journalist Michael Wolff for claiming that Epstein was part of her story with Trump. To conclude, she urged Congress to listen to the victims in public hearings. A necessary gesture, although it comes wrapped in that air of damage control that no one fully believes anymore.
