Ukrainian authorities have confirmed that the bombings caused serious damage to residential buildings, critical infrastructure, and port areas, raising concerns about security in the region.

According to the State Emergency Service, rescue teams worked for hours among the rubble to assist the affected. Images released show destroyed buildings and civilians being evacuated after the impacts.

The Minister of Development of Communities and Territories, Oleksii Kuleba, detailed that the attack also affected railway facilities and other key infrastructures. Furthermore, the offensive was not limited to Odesa: cities like Kiev, Dnipro, and Zaporiyia were also targeted by the bombings.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrii Sybiha, denounced that Russia used around 700 drones along with dozens of ballistic and cruise missiles in one of the most intense attacks in recent weeks.

The escalation of the conflict once again puts Ukraine and the international community on alert as attacks on civilian territory continue.
