The Iranian agency Tasnim, linked to the Revolutionary Guard, released images on Tuesday of a missile launch that, according to the media, corresponds to the attack on the ship Msc Sariska.

According to the version provided by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, the attacked vessel would be linked to the "American Zionist enemy," an expression commonly used by Tehran to refer to the United States and Israel. Iranian authorities claim that the military action was a direct response to a supposed previous attack by American forces on the Iranian ship "Lian Star" in the waters of the Sea of Oman.

Tasnim described the operation as retaliation for what it described as "an aggressive attack" by the United States. So far, Washington has not publicly confirmed the events reported by Iran or issued an official statement on the incident.

The episode occurs in a context of increasing tension in the Middle East, where indirect confrontations between Iran, the United States, and Israel have raised international concern about maritime security in strategic routes for global trade and energy transport.
