The book contains the testimony of one of the main accusers of the sexual exploitation network of businessman Jeffrey Epstein.

In a virtual interview with the EFE agency, writer Amy Wallace, co-author of the book, explained that the book was written in secret over four years, between 2021 and 2025, with exclusive knowledge of the publisher. However, a few weeks before its publication, it was leaked that the text included names of alleged abusers linked to the Epstein network, which led to threats.

According to Wallace, Virginia Giuffre did not include the complete list of her attackers due to pressure and threats. "If she could have decided freely, she would have done it," she stated, pointing out that the victim received intimidations related to her safety and that of her family from men with significant economic power.

"The Nobody Girl" has become a key testimony about the abuses in the Epstein network and the impact of fear on public denunciation.
