During a press conference, Trump asserted that Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait benefit from the security provided by the United States. "I want them to reimburse me because we are protecting a very wealthy part of the world," he declared.

The president also emphasized that the United States protects allies like Israel, in addition to the major Gulf countries, and argued that his country has enough energy resources to not depend on the region's oil.

Regarding the offensive against Iran, Trump stated that U.S. forces are intensively attacking to neutralize its offensive capability. Additionally, he announced that Washington maintains control of the Strait of Hormuz and has reinstated a blockade that, as he explained, only affects trade with Tehran.

"We are controlling the strait, and the blockade only affects Iran," Trump affirmed, stating that the combination of the blockade and military attacks is proving to be particularly effective.
