The president invited a Las Vegas family, consisting of a police officer, a casino waitress, and their two young children, to share how these policies have impacted their lives.
As the couple spoke, one of their children started walking quickly towards the edge of the stage. Donald Trump reacted immediately, intercepted the child, and prevented him from continuing. After the incident, the president made a joke about his predecessor, Joe Biden, although his words could not be clearly heard.
During the same event, Trump also criticized former Vice President Kamala Harris and attacked the Republican justices of the Supreme Court, stating that "they do not stick together." In contrast, he claimed that the three liberal justices "never stray" and acknowledged that he respects that discipline.
However, he added that it was "a shame" that some of them were part of the high court and even commented that he "would like to fire them." He later clarified his statements by pointing out that they were in response to Democratic proposals to expand the number of justices on the Supreme Court.
