The shocking images show the exact moment when an intervention group falls from a height due to the structural failure of a house during an arrest operation.

The incident occurred on July 21 in Huntsville, located in the state of Missouri. A total of nine members of a police task force were lined up just outside the door of an apartment on the second floor of a building. At that moment, the wooden deck they were standing on unexpectedly collapsed.

The officers, some heavily armed, fell directly within seconds. Despite the violent impact and the officers carrying firearms in their hands, fortunately, none of their weapons accidentally discharged during the fall.

The objective of this deployment was to proceed with the arrest of a 26-year-old man who had failed to register as a sex offender. The operation involved a joint task force coordinated by the United States Marshals Service, including members from the Randolph County Sheriff's Office, the Moberly Police Department, and the North Missouri Drug Task Force.

The accident resulted in several injured individuals of varying severity. According to Steven Lewis, the U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Missouri, seven of the agents had to receive hospital treatment for injuries "consistent with a fairly serious fall," including broken bones, all of whom were discharged after receiving assistance. Despite the deck collapse and the injuries suffered by the officers, U.S. Marshals Service spokesperson Abigail Meyer confirmed that the suspect was eventually arrested later that same day.
