One of the most serious episodes took place on a bus on line 47, which connects the neighborhoods of Tavriiskyi and Korabel. A Russian drone launched an explosive against the public transport vehicle, causing a strong detonation. Four passengers died on the spot, and another four were injured by shrapnel.
The impact created a huge hole in the bus's roof and shattered much of its windows. Inside, there were glass fragments and dense smoke after the explosion. Among the victims was a 90-year-old woman who, according to testimonies from the area, had managed to board the bus after asking the driver to wait.
The intensity of the UAV attacks has significantly increased. According to information from the region, around 1,000 drones were recorded on the 19th, compared to just over 400 that were previously common.
The increase in these Russian attacks in Kherson is putting pressure on a civilian population that continues to be exposed to war.
