On July 3, 2018, after overcoming vocal problems, the singer gave her last concert in the capital in front of 14,000 people at the then Wizink Center, where she said: "Many times I thought I would never sing in public again." Three days later, she closed her two nights at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, beginning a period away from the country's stages that is coming to an end. This time, the artist will gather around 650,000 spectators over 12 scheduled concerts between September 18 and October 11 at the Iberdrola Space. This event will be the only stop in Europe within her tour "Women Don't Cry Anymore."

To host the shows, a temporary stadium has been built designed for 55,000 people per night and equipped with a surround screen brought directly from China. The venue marks the starting point of a residency that also includes a theme park, Macondo Park, covering 22 hectares inspired by the literary universe of Gabriel García Márquez and the singer's career. This space will host a gastronomic area, an immersive museum sponsored by Amazon, a fashion pavilion, a fan zone, book clubs, and the children's space Macondito. Additionally, a second stage has been set up for supporting acts such as Amaia, Nathy Peluso, Guitarricadelafuente, Lia Kali, Louta, Maro, Santos Bravos, Izatkm, J Noa, Nico, or Yapi, along with flamenco performances by Yerai Cortés or Ángeles Toledano. The days will offer up to 12 hours of parallel activities, opening at 3:30 p.m. and closing at 12:15 a.m. with a farewell from a band from the Barranquilla Carnival.

The president of Live Nation in Spain, Pino Sagliocco, has described the proposal as a "musical Disneyworld" aimed at attracting audiences from all over Europe and across the Atlantic. The promoter highlighted the multicultural nature of the project, stating: "Madrid is Latin. Spain is Latin, there is no other place in the world where a site like this could be conceived. Here we want to celebrate the joy of living, and they will have 12 hours to do so. [...] From Friday onwards, Colombian will be spoken here, Mexican will be spoken, Peruvian will be spoken, Argentine will be spoken, Uruguayan will be spoken, Brazilian will be spoken, Portuguese will be spoken, Italian will be spoken, and English will be spoken." It is expected that 81% of the attending audience will be European—mainly Spanish, with 3% French, 2% British, and 1% Italian—while 19% will cross the Atlantic to witness the shows. The Madrid region has already exceeded one million inhabitants born in South America, representing one in seven residents. In the cultural realm, book clubs organized with Penguin Random House will discuss books such as One Hundred Years of Solitude, Love in the Time of Cholera, A Good Girl, A Modern Family, Women Who Run with the Wolves, and I Love Myself, I Love You.

Musically, the Barranquilla native has been interspersing songs from all her stages in Latin America and will close the shows with the song with Bizarrap that gives its name to her tour, with expected changes in the repertoire to include songs like "Te dejo Madrid." Likewise, rumors point to the possible appearance on stage of guest artists such as Alejandro Sanz or Maluma, with whom she will debut the song "Agua." This massive event will have a strong economic impact on the capital, ranging between 100 and 150 million euros, benefiting especially the accommodation, catering, transportation, and commerce sectors. According to the Booking platform, accommodation searches in the community have increased by 56% compared to last year. Additionally, SiteMinder reports a 15% increase in hotel bookings and a nearly 20% rise in room prices, while Kiwi.com registers a more than 72% increase in flight demand from Europe and almost an 84% increase in consolidated bookings.
