The United States has been attentive to the case of Lindsay Clancy for weeks, the mother accused of killing her three children. The legal process remains in the media spotlight as the court decides whether to declare her guilty or exempt her from criminal responsibility after claiming she was suffering from severe postpartum depression.
Her ex-husband, Patrick Clancy, recently stated that he still maintains an emotional connection with his children Cora, Dawson, and Callan and claims that he tries to communicate with them despite their passing, as reported by the 60 Minutes program.
"I talk to them", Patrick confessed to the journalist during the conversation. When asked what he frequently tells them, he responded: "Help me, always help me".
Although various theories on social media tried to divert attention to the family environment and speculated on the husband's involvement, the investigation and Lindsay's own confession confirm her responsibility in the homicide of the children, aged 5 years, 3 years, and 8 months.

Many donors have used the comments section to send words of encouragement to the mother and demand urgent reforms in maternal mental health care, with testimonies like: "Lindsay Clancy, you are a movement. And many people support you", "Hopefully, another tragedy would not be necessary for people to recognize that postpartum depression is real and treatable", or "I pray that our healthcare system listens more attentively to women, especially when they are in crisis".
