It has been a week filled with maternal news. Six days ago, Lady Gaga was spotted strolling with a baby and, a few hours later, it was confirmed that it is indeed her first child with Michael Polansky. This Tuesday, Lena Dunham revealed that she has fulfilled her dream of becoming a mother for the first time through surrogacy. And now, according to various American media outlets, a third celeb has welcomed the stork.
We are talking about Millie Bobby Brown (22). The Stranger Things star, who has adopted her second child, along with her husband Jake Bongiovi (24), one of Jon Bon Jovi's heirs. The couple announced the adoption of their first daughter in August 2025 and this September 17, just 13 months later, it was revealed that the couple has expanded their family. However, there are no further details on the matter.
According to People, up to now, the stars and their representatives have refused to respond to the press. But, according to the magazine, there are reliable sources confirming the news. In any case, it is not something far-fetched. Millie Bobby Brown has never hidden her desires to have a large family and, in different interviews, she has mentioned that she has a lot of love to give.
In October 2023, the artist told Glamour that she had never fantasized about weddings, but "about babies" and that her "life plan" was to become the kind of mother her mother has been to her, as well as the elemental figure her grandmother had been to her mother. Later, in early 2025, she stated to Vanity Fair that she used to talk with her husband about starting a family and that Bongovi was aware that she "dreamed" of having a house full of children.
In November, after becoming a mother, Millie told Vogue that motherhood was "a wonderful journey" and, in December, she revealed to Allure that her little one was causing "an unexpected side" to flourish in her. Brown stated that she felt she was living "a more confident version of herself" and then indicated that parenting had changed her way of seeing life and even how she valued her own body.
On the other hand, in June, the actress appeared on the podcast On Purpose and detailed the adoption process of her daughter. She recounted how the call was when she was informed she would become a mother and confessed that she had an intense conversation with another adoptive mom, who explained to her that there were two ways to have a baby: "through the womb or through the heart."
And what does Millie want to do from now on? As she asserted last year, her biggest project is to continue going through this process, which fills her heart so much. "I really want to have a big family. I have three siblings, Jake has three siblings, and having a family like that is definitely in our future," she stated on SmartLess. Likewise, the young woman has repeated on numerous occasions that adoption has always been part of her desires, although she has not closed the door to having biological children.
