During his latest speech, the Republican politician used the migration crisis at the Spanish border to illustrate what he considers a systemic failure in immigration policy. "Look at Spain. Just a couple of weeks ago, a hundred thousand people entered the country in a matter of minutes. They do nothing about it. I don't know where they live. It's a crazy situation," he categorically stated.

With this severe attack on the Spanish Government, Trump intensifies his discourse on border control amid the political race. The President continues to point fingers at European countries as examples of open-door policies, using the situation in Ceuta and the southern border as a recurring argument to demand more drastic measures.

His statements have reignited the international political debate on the real impact of border crossings and the institutional response within the European Union.
