The Argentine leader's statements came during the XXX Ibero-American Summit, in a context marked by political and personal disagreements between the two leaders in recent months.

During his address to representatives of the participating countries, Milei reiterated his criticism of socialism and drew a comparison with fascism, a statement that once again places his ideological views at the center of the international political debate.

The speech took place during the plenary session of the meeting, which brings together various Ibero-American leaders in the Spanish capital.

The institutional face-to-face between Milei and Sánchez occurs after several episodes of tension between the two leaders, whose political differences have also affected their diplomatic relations.
